Women's volleyball team loses to Hillsborough at FCSAA Championships

The Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball team's season ended Friday at the FCSAA Championships at Florida Southwestern State College.
The Titans lost to Hillsborough Community College in three sets to finish the season 12-14.
After a slow start in the first set the Titans cut the lead to two, 18-16 but Hillsborough won the final seven points to take the first set 25-16.
Hillsborough led throughout the second set, winning 25-19.
The third set was a tight set throughout with 12 ties and was tied 16-16 on an Emma Cook block. But the Hawks would once again take control and kept the lead to the end, winning 25-21.
Jordyn Cox finished with nine kills while Diara Gaye had seven kills and four blocks for the Titans.
It was the final match at Eastern Florida State College for Ashley Cate, Emma Cook and Sophia Iglesias. Iglesias had 20 assists and Cook finished with three kills and three blocks.
