Women's soccer team tops Miami Dade on the road

The Eastern Florida State College women's soccer team picked up a Region 8 Conference win on the road Tuesday night.
The No. 19 Titans scored twice in the first six minutes of the contest and held on to defeat Miami Dade College 2-1.
Three minutes into the contest as Aoife Farral took a nice long ball, made a couple of moves and beat the keeper to give Eastern Florida State College a 1-0 lead.
A couple of minutes later the Titans struck again as a shot went off the keeper and right to Avery Bracher who hit a blast into the back of the net in the sixth minute.
With just under a minute left in the first half Miami Dade College's Tiana Griego scored to cut the lead to 2-1.
Lira Adamski made a couple of nice saves in the second half to keep the lead as the Titans picked up their second straight conference win. Adamski finished with six saves in the game.
Eastern Florida State College has now won four straight and is now 8-3-1 overall and 2-3 in the conference.
The Titans will wrap up the conference season on Saturday evening against No. 1 Daytona State College. The game at Daytona State College will begin at 7 p.m.
