Men's soccer team opens conference play Tuesday night on the road

The Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team will open the Region 8 Conference Tuesday night on the road.

The eighth-ranked Titans will travel to Daytona State College to play the No. 12 Falcons in a Region 8 Conference match. It will be the first of three meetings between the two teams and will be the first of two at Daytona State College.

Both teams come into the matchup with one loss on the season, both coming to LSU-Eunice in Panama City Beach.

Daytona State College is 3-1-1 on the season and have outscored opponents 14-5 in the five matches this season. Carlos Zambrano has scored three times and assisted on two others to start the season.

Eastern Florida State College is 5-1 this season and has posted three shutouts this season, outscoring opponents 29-5 this season. The Titans are led by Daiki Okada who has scored six times this season while teammate Daniele Verdirosi has scored four times and assisted on five others.
