The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team's win streak ended at 10 games, falling on the road on Saturday.
The Titans, who are now 11-4 in the Citrus Conference and 22-7 overall, lost to St. Petersburg College 64-55.
Eastern Florida State College led for most of the first half, leading by as many as 13 a couple of times but St. Petersburg went on a 10-2 run toward the end of the first half and actually took the lead 31-30 before a Tyson Wilson basket before the first half ended.
The Titans led 32-31 heading into the second half but St. Petersburg went on another run and took a 43-36 lead before a Wilson basket. Eastern Florida State College would tie the game one final time, 49-49 on a Djiby Ly basket but St. Petersburg would score the next nine points and would go on to pick up the win.
St. Petersburg College improved to 4-11 in the conference and 8-20 overall with the win.
Misael Cruz Rodriguez finished with 16 points in the loss.
Eastern Florida State College will wrap up the regular season on Monday, traveling to Polk State College for a Citrus Conference game. They have already punched their ticket to the FCSAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship in Niceville beginning March 11.
