The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team picked up a big Citrus Conference road win on Saturday afternoon.
The Titans defeated Indian River State College 97-88 to improve to 3-3 in the conference.
Eastern Florida State College made a run in the first half and went to the locker room leading 45-38.
But the Titans turned things on in the second half, going on 12-0 run to lead by as many as 18 in the second half and went on to post their second straight win.
Freshman forward Sean Register Jr. collected his eighth double-double of the season, scoring 28 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Register also dished out eight assists in the win. Teammate Joviel Acevedo-Arroyo hit three 3-pointers and finished with 19 points while Misael Cruz Rodriguez scored 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
Adam Squire had 25 points for Indian River State College.
Eastern Florida State College will be back home on Wednesday for a Citrus Conference game against St. Petersburg College beginning at 7:30 p.m. The game will be shown live on WEFS-TV and on the EFSC Titans YouTube page. Admission is free to games at Titan Field House.
