Women's cross country team places 19th at Half Marathon Championship

The Eastern Florida State College women's cross country team finished 19th in the NJCAA National Half Marathon Championships in Fort Dodge, Iowa Tuesday.
The Titans wrapped up the season by running the 13.1 mile race that most had never run before in cold weather once again.
Sophomore Rori Pandolfini finished 46th overall in the race as she ran a steady race, finishing in one hour, 32 minutes and 47.8 seconds. She ran the race three minutes faster than she did in her freshman season.
Ember Michaels made a good move in the middle of the race to finish 104th overall with a time of 1:46:55.9. Teammate Aubrey Orcutt finished five places behind her, crossing in 1:47:56.1.
Kyla Grace Waymire moved up the field throughout the race, finishing in 1:54:08.6 while Abigail Derisme crossed in 1:55:39.0.
Odessa College won the team title ahead of Iowa Western Community College and Ranger Community College was third in the race.
Individually, Iowa Western's Juliana Sakat won the race in 1:15:47.3 with runners from Odessa finishing second and third.
