The Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball team hits the road Wednesday for a Citrus Conference matchup.
The Titans will travel to Fort Myers to play No. 1 ranked Florida Southwestern State College beginning at 6 p.m. at Suncoast Credit Union Arena.
Eastern Florida State College comes into the matchup looking to snap a six-match losing streak and needs a win to help clinch a spot in the Region 8 Tournament.
In the first meeting, Florida Southwestern edged the Titans 22-20 in the fifth set of a marathon match.
The Bucs have gone on to remain unbeaten in conference play and are 20-1 overall. Letizia Okonofua is averaging 3.22 kills per set this season while Irina Makinen is leading the FCSAA in assists per set, averaging 9.82.
Eastern Florida State College's Jordyn Cox remains in the top five in kills with 228 while Diara Gaye is third in the state in hitting percentage, hitting .308 this season.
The Titans will be back home on Saturday afternoon for the final home match of the season as they will host Polk State College at 2 p.m. at Titan Field House. Admission is free and fans can watch the match on the EFSC Titans YouTube page. The program will honor the sophomore class following the match.
