Women's volleyball team hits road for conference match Wednesday

The Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball team will hit the road for a Citrus Conference match against Santa Fe College on Wednesday.
The No. 16 ranked Titans are 1-1 in the conference and 10-5 overall this season and are coming off a win on Saturday afternoon while Santa Fe is 8-6 overall on the season and is looking for its first conference win.
Santa Fe's Ife Talabi is averaging 2.20 kills per set this season and has eclipsed 100 kills in her first 12 matches. Teammate Kailyn Howard has also eclipsed 100 kills and is averaging close to two kills per set.
Eastern Florida State College's Leyre Arroyo Sanchez is fourth in the FCSAA in kills per set, averaging 3.41 in 15 matches this season. Arroyo Sanchez comes into Wednesday's match with 167 kills on the season. Teammate Jordyn Cox has 157 and is averaging 3.02 kills per set. Angelis Fugueroa is third in the state in digs per set, averaging 3.87 and has over 200 digs this season. Sophia Iglesias is averaging 6.98 assists per set which is fourth in the FCSAA.

Eastern Florida State College will return home on Saturday for a conference match against No. 1 Florida Southwestern. The match will begin at 2 p.m. and admission is free. The match will be shown live on WEFS-TV and online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
