Women's volleyball team home Wednesday for conference match on WEFS-TV

The Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball team will be home for the first time this season on Wednesday night.
The No. 18-ranked Titans will host Polk State College in a Citrus Conference match at 6 p.m. Wednesday. The match will be shown live locally on WEFS-TV, channel 9 or 455 on Spectrum, 68 on DirecTV, 30 on Dish and 68 on AT&T Uverse and online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
Both teams enter Wednesday's game looking for their first conference win of the season.
Eastern Florida State College is 9-6 this season, three of the losses to ranked teams. The Titans have been led by the duo of Dominae Jordan and Lesmary Raffucci who both rank among the top five in kills and kills per set. Jordan is leading the conference in kills per set, averaging 3.76 while teammate Raffucci is fourth at 3.54.
Teammate Sarah Henault is second in the state in digs per set, averaging 4.47 and has 170 digs which is fourth in the state. Setter Sophia Iglesias is third in assists per set at 7.68.
Polk State College comes into the contest 3-3 overall and 0-2 in the conference and are led by Giulia Beatriz who is hitting .438 in six matches this season.
Wednesday night's game will begin at 6 p.m. and admission is free to Titan Field House.
