Women's tennis team tops SCF-Manatee Sarasota

The Eastern Florida State College women's tennis team defeated the State College of Florida-Sarasota Manatee 6-3 on Saturday afternoon.

The Titans, who improved to 16-7 on the season, swept the doubles matches as Armelle Cerdan and Josephine Karcher won the No. 1 double 8-6, Giulianna Hull and Katharina Drebka teamed up to win second doubles 8-3 and Brenda Aguilar and Jamie Duque won the third doubles 8-1.

In singles matches, Drebka, Duque and Valeria Arevalo picked up wins.

The team will travel to Florida State College at Jacksonville on Friday afternoon. They return to Titan Tennis Center on Sunday, hosting St. Petersburg College at 9 a.m.
