Titans women's tennis team wins pair of matches Wednesday
The Eastern Florida State College women's tennis team posted wins against Broward College and Albany State Wednesday
The women's tennis team picked up two more wins on Wednesday, defeating Broward College and Albany State at Titan Tennis Center.
The Titans started the day with a 7-2 win against Broward College as they swept the doubles matches and took four of the six singles matches.
Luisa Varon and Josephine Karcher teamed up to won No. 1 doubles while Filda Badi and Armelle Cerdan picked up another win at No. 2 doubles. The team of Giulianna Hull and Katharina Drebka won third doubles.
Varon, Cerdan, Karcher and Badi all won singles matches as well.
The Titans then came back in the afternoon and blanked Albany State 9-0.
In doubles, Karcher and Drebka teamed up to win No. 1 while Cerdan and Badi won the No. 2 match and Hull teamed with Jamie Duque to win third doubles.
Cerdan, Karcher, Drebka, Hull, Badi and Duque all won singles matches as well.
The Titans, who are now 13-5, will travel to Pensacola for matches this weekend.
