Titan women's tennis team tops Embry-Riddle

The Eastern Florida State College women's tennis team defeated Embry-Riddle to improve to 2-1 on the season.

After losing two of the three doubles matches, the team stormed back in singles, winning five of the six matches.

Luisa Varon, Josephine Karcher, Filda Badi and Giulianna Hull all won in straight sets while Armelle Cerdan battled back after losing the first set to post the 4-6, 6-1, 6-1 victory.

Hull teamed with Brenda Aguilar to win the third doubles match 8-4.

Eastern Florida State College will travel to Palm Beach Atlantic for a 4 p.m. match Friday.
