The Eastern Florida State College women's soccer team rolled past Genesee Community College Friday evening in Rochester, New York.
The No. 6-ranked Titans defeated Genesee CC, who is ranked fifth in the Division III poll, 7-0 to improve to 6-1-1.
Sophomore Nancy Almanza scored twice in the first half and his third goal came early in the second half for her first hat trick of the season. Almanza got things started fast, scoring in the first minute of the match and had her second goal five minutes later.
Teammate Morgan Gamin scored a goal in each half and now has seven goals this season.
Samira Roper Morales scored four minutes into the match and Sofia Posner scored the seventh goal of the game. It was the third goal of the season for both Morales and Posner.
It was the fourth shutout of the season for the defense.
Eastern Florida State College will play No. 8 Monroe Community College on Sunday at 11 a.m. in New York.
