Weather postpones first round of women's golf event

The Eastern Florida State College women's golf team had the first round of the Oldfield Intercollegiate was postponed due to weather on Monday.

The tournament at the Oldfield Golf Club in Okatie, South Carolina got almost 10 holes in before the weather postponed the event for the day. The tournament will resume on Tuesday with the finish of the first round and then play the second and final round in the afternoon.

Sophomores Mila Tang and Ann Burel were both off to good starts in the tournament.

The tournament features some of the top NCAA Division II and NAIA schools in the country.
