The Eastern Florida State College women's golf team is in third place after the first two rounds of the Kinderlou Forest Spring Invite in Valdosta, Georgia.
The Titans shot rounds of 308 and 315 at the Kinderou Forest Golf Club and is trailing SCAD Atlanta and host Dalton State heading into Tuesday's final round.
Sophomore Mila Tang is at 4-over after two rounds and is in second place overall behind SCAD Savannah's Yunyi Luo who is at 2-over. Teammate Konstanze Anglett is tied for third overall one stroke behind Tang.
Blair Powers rebounded from a tough first round to post a 76 in the second round and is tied for 23rd overall heading to the final round. Teammate Margaux Blais is tied for 33rd overall while Vivian Luu is tied for 36th.
"Good first rounds by Mila and Konni but we aren't putting four good scores together," Eastern Florida State College women's golf coach Jamie Howell said. "We show signs of good play and just have too many lapses. Really good course and a good top group of teams."
The final round of the tournament is scheduled to tee off at 8:30 a.m.
