Women's golf team heads to Georgia for Kinderlou invite

The Eastern Florida State College women's golf team will tee off in the Kinderlou Forest Spring Invite beginning Monday in Valdosta, Georgia.
The tournament will be the second tournament of the spring season for the Titans who placed third last week at the Coastal Georgia Women's Winter Invitational.
Eastern Florida State College will be one of eight teams in the field playing at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club hosted by Dalton State College.
Host Dalton State is ranked second in the NAIA national poll with SCAD Atlanta ranked fifth. SCAD Savannah is right behind them, ranked sixth in the nation while Southeastern University is ranked 10th.
Cumberland University and Truett McConnell University are also ranked in the top 25 in the nation and will be playing in the tournament.
The Titans are ranked sixth in the NJCAA Division I national poll. Sophomore Mila Tang finished in a tie for eighth place overall in the season opener with teammate Blair Powers finishing in 11th.
The tournament is scheduled for two rounds on Monday with the final round scheduled for Tuesday morning.
