Women's golf team places third at Coastal Georgia Winter Invitational

The Eastern Florida State College women's golf team placed third at the Coastal Georgia Women's Winter Invitational on Tuesday.
The Titans shot a 309 in the final round to finish 611 for the tournament. Keiser University won the tournament, firing a 294 on Tuesday with SCAD Savannah finishing second.
Mila Tang finished in a tie for eighth place overall, shooting a 4-over 76 on Tuesday and finished 6-over for the tournament. Teammate Blair Powers finished in 11th after shooting a 79 on Tuesday. Margaux Blais finished in 22nd, shooting a 79 in the final round.
Konni Anglett moved up 12 places with a round of 3-over 75 on Tuesday and finished in 24th place overall. Cayden Challacombe shot an 85.
"It was a tough day all around," Eastern Florida State College women's golf coach Jamie Howell said. "A slow start and a struggle throughout the round but the team held it together to finish third."
Eastern Florida State College will be back in action next week, competing in the Kinderlou Forest Invitational on Feb. 16 and 17 in Valdosta, Georgia
