The Eastern Florida State College women's golf team is tied for second after the first round of the Coastal Georgia Women's Winter Invitational on Monday.
The Titans shot a 302 and is tied for second place with SCAD Savannah at 14-over par at the Jekyll Island Golf Club in Georgia.
Freshman Blair Powers shot a 1-over par 73 and is tied for first with three other players. Teammate Mila Tang is tied for fifth overall at 2-over 74 highlighted by an eagle on No. 18. Margaux Blais is tied for ninth after a 3-over 75 while Konni Anglett shot an 80.
Cayden Challacombe had a Hole-In-One on the 17th and finished with an 85.
"Solid play by Blair, Mila and Margaux, we will need that fourth score if we are to make up the gap with Keiser," Eastern Florida State College women's golf coach Jamie Howell said.
Keiser University leads the tournament, shooting a 298 in the first round.
The final round of the tournament is scheduled for Tuesday morning.
