Eastern Florida State College women's golfer Ann Burel won the individual title at the Seminole State Fall Warm Up on Tuesday.
The sophomore shot even par in the final round to finish 1-under 143 for the tournament. After a rough front nine she made the turn at 4-over but had four birdies on the back nine to finish at even par 72.
"Heck of a comeback by Ann today. Her game has been trending since school began and it is good to see it come together in a tournament," Eastern Florida State College women's golf coach Jamie Howell said. "Solid play by both Konni and Blair and a good job by the team while missing Mila (Tang)."
Teammate Konstanze Anglett shot 2-over 74 on Tuesday to finish the tournament at 5-over and tied for eighth place overall. Teammate Blair Powers shot four over for the second straight day and tied for 19th overall.
Vivian Luu shot an 81 while Cayden Challacombe shot an 84. Margaux Blais shot an 86 as an individual.
Stetson University won the event with host Seminole State College finishing second and the University of Tampa and Florida Southern tied for third. The Titans finished fifth overall.
Eastern Florida State College will compete in the New College Fall Invitational on Sept. 23.
