The Eastern Florida State College women's golf team is in fifth place after the first round of the Seminole State Fall Warm Up.
The Titans shot a 17-over 305 at Rio Pinar Golf Club on Monday and is in fifth place overall, one stroke behind the University of Tampa. Stetson University leads the tournament after shooting 5-over.
Sophomore Ann Burel shot a 1-under 71 in the first round, making two birdies and a bogey on the front nine and then shot even par on the back nine, making a birdie on 11 and then a bogey on 15. Burel is tied for second overall heading into the final day.
Konni Anglett is tied for 12th overall after shooting a 3-over 75 while Blair Powers finished with a 4-over 76. Vivien Luu shot an 83 while Cayden Challacombe had an 84.
Margaux Blais shot a 91 as an individual.
Eastern Florida State College will play the final round on Tuesday morning.
