Women's golf team set to tee off in Seminole State College event
The Eastern Florida State College women's golf team is playing in the Seminole State Spring Break Invitational beginning Tuesday morning
The Eastern Florida State College women's golf team will tee off in the Seminole State Spring Break Invitational Tuesday morning.
The Titans are coming off a second-place finish at the Coastal Georgia Spring Invitational and head into the Seminole State Spring Break Invitational playing well.
Sophomore Elise Boccabella placed second in the Georgia event and 15th at the World Golf Invitational this season.
"Timicuan Country Club is a challenging course and the conditions look to be windy the next two days so we will have a good challenge in front of us," women's golf coach Jamie Howell said.
Seminole State College is No. 1 in the latest GolfStat NJCAA Division I rankings while the Titans come into the tournament No. 4.
