Women's golf team places third at Keiser Kup
The Eastern Florida State College women's golf team placed third overall in the Keiser Kup
The Eastern Florida State College women's golf team finished third in the Keiser Kup at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens on Tuesday.
Sophomore Delia Timpy shot a 78 in the final round and finished third overall at 15 over par for the tournament. Teammate Elise Boccabella finished fifth overall and Gabrielle Fernandez placed tied for 11th while Kira Shellman finished in 15th. Olivia Timpy finished in 19th overall in the tournament.
"The ladies keep showing promise with solid play by Delia, Elise and Gabby," Eastern Florida State College women's golf coach Jamie Howell said. "The conditions were tough today and it showed on the back nine."
The women's golf team will be back on the course Oct. 12 for the Webber International Fall Invitational in Winter Haven.
