Women's basketball team to honor Sophomores Saturday
The Eastern Florida State College women’s basketball team is home for the final time this season on Saturday afternoon, hosting Florida Southwestern State College at 2 p.m.

The Titans will honor the sophomore class before Saturday's 2 p.m. Citrus Conference game against Florida Southwestern State College.
Bruna DaSilva, Ofir Parpara, Grace Strickland, Shadia Lara Santacruz and Alayna Lherisse will all be playing their final home game at Titan Field House on Saturday.
The five players will be honored right before the game.
Florida Southwestern comes into the game on a four-game win streak and is second in the conference at 10-3. The Bucs have won the first two meetings but the last meeting was a tight two-point loss for the Titans. The Bucs are led by Chelsea Bishop who is averaging 14.6 points per game and is coming off a 20-point performance in win over Hillsborough Community College. Teammate Amelia Williams has scored 15 points in each of the past three games and had 15 points in last meeting with the Titans.
Eastern Florida State College is coming off a 20-point victory against Santa Fe College and has won two of the past three games. Milica Lazarevic has scored at least 23 points in each of the past five games and is averaging 16.4 on the season. Teammate Ofir Parpara had 18 points in the Titans win on Wednesday and is now averaging 10.5 points.
Saturday's game will also be an Alumni, Friends and Fans Day with contests and giveaways.
