The Eastern Florida State College women’s basketball team will be back at home on Saturday afternoon for a Citrus Conference game against Hillsborough Community College
The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team will be back at home on Saturday afternoon for a Citrus Conference game.
The Titans will look to avenge a loss to Hillsborough Community College earlier this season when they welcome them to Titan Field House for a 2 p.m. game.
In the first meeting, Hillsborough used a big third quarter to pick up the 62-55 win as Peyton Flourney had 20 points off the bench. Angela Mirkovic had 14 points while Milica Lazarevic had 13 in the first meeting.
The Titans are looking to get back on track after a tough second half against Florida Southwestern led to a 65-45 loss. Bruna DaSilva was the only Titan to score in double digits in the game, finishing with 11 points. DaSilva leads the Titans offensively, averaging 13.7 points per game.
Hillsborough comes into the matchup 3-2 in the conference and is led by Malayna Stevenson who is averaging 15.6 points per game and has scored 20-plus in each of the past three games.
Saturday's game will begin at 2 p.m. and admission is free to Titan Field House. Fans can also watch the game live online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
