Women's basketball team hits road for conference game

The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team will hit the road for a Citrus Conference game Wednesday.

The No. 21 Titans, who have won nine straight and are 10-3 on the season, will travel to St. Petersburg College for a 5 p.m. game.

Eastern Florida State College is in first place in the conference at 5-0 and are led by the NJCAA Region 8 Player of the Week Amelia Hassett who is averaging 19.5 points and 14.2 rebounds per game this season. The 19.5 points is second in Region 8 and the 14.2 rebounds leads Region 8.

Teammates Jaidyn Koerdt and Kristiana Kulackovska are each averaging 10 points per game for the Titans.

St. Petersburg College comes into the contest in need of a win. The Titans are led by the duo of TaNiya Pryor and Carliss Johnson who are each averaging 10 points per game.
