Women's basketball team will face Trinity Valley in Final Four matchup

The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team are turning heads once again at Rip Griffin Center on the campus of Lubbock Christian University in Texas.

The Titans are once again making a run at the NJCAA Division I National Tournament, this time making it to the Final Four. Heading into Sunday's game, the Titans are 4-1 in the national tournament and have made the Elite Eight in both appearances.

Eastern Florida State College comes into the Final Four matchup against No. 3 seed Trinity Valley with a 33-1 record and have won 17 in a row.

Trinity Valley has been one of the most dynamic teams in the tournament this year, beating both opponents by 23 points and have a 14-game win streak of their own heading into the 7 p.m. EDT game.

It is a matchup of the top two scoring teams in the tournament as Trinity Valley is averaging 78.5 points per game while the Titans are averaging 77.5. Defensively, the Titans are holding teams to 61 points in the tournament while Trinity Valley is holding opponents to 55.5 points.

Freshman Isimenme Ozzy-Momodu is averaging a double-double in the tournament, averaging 20 points and 12 rebounds in the two games. The London, England native had season-highs in both scoring (24) and rebounds (18) on Saturday against Wabash Valley. Teammate Leilani Guion comes into the Final Four averaging 13 points per game.

Trinity Valley has three players averaging double figures in the tournament as Briana Peguero is averaging 17.5 points while Abby Cater is averaging 12.5 and Ashanti Barnes is averaging 11.

Sunday's game will mark the first meeting between the two teams and the winner will advance to the NJCAA Division I National Championship Game Monday night on ESPNU.
