The No. 24-ranked Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team lost a close game at Indian River State College Wednesday night.
The Titans shot 36 percent from the floor and were outrebounded by Indian River State College, who handed Eastern Florida State College their second straight loss of the season.
Stephanie Torres led the Titans with 22 points while Natalia Beaumont had 16, Anja Knoflach had 11 and Kaitlyn Sanders finished with 10 points.
Indian River improved to 4-1 on the season while the Titans fell to 2-2.
The Titans will open the Central Conference season Saturday, traveling to St. Petersburg College for a 2 p.m. game.
