The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team lost to South Georgia Tech in a battle of top 25 teams in the Lady Jet Holiday Classic in Americus, Ga.
The Titans battled back from a sluggish second quarter to take a one-point lead heading to the fourth quarter. But South Georgia Tech finished strong, picking up the 73-66 win.
Stephanie Torres finished with a team-high 22 points while Skye Williams had 15 points. Milan Schimmel had a double-double, scoring 10 points and grabbing 14 rebounds in the game.
The Titans, who are now 11-3 overall, will play Georgia Highlands on Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the tournament.
