The Eastern Florida State College softball team will look to get back on track Tuesday afternoon.
The ninth-ranked Titans will host Polk State College in a Citrus Conference doubleheader beginning at 3 p.m. at Titan Softball Complex.
Eastern Florida State College comes into the games 4-4 in the conference standings while Polk State College is 1-5. The Titans are third in the FCSAA in runs scored with 196 runs in 22 games and are hitting .372 this season which is second in the state.
Jaelynne Whipple leads the team with a .481 batting average which is fifth in the state while teammate Aracelis Jimenez is hitting .426. Annalyn Duncan has 38 RBI this season which is third in the state.
Polk State College's Calonnie Holmes is hitting .396 this season with three home runs while teammate Kirsten Aldridge is hitting .333.
