The Eastern Florida State College softball team split a doubleheader on the road Saturday afternoon, winning the first game 14-3 but fell 7-4 in the second game against the Florida State College at Jacksonville

The Eastern Florida State College softball team split a doubleheader on the road Saturday afternoon.
The Titans won the first game 14-3 but fell 7-4 in the second game against the Florida State College at Jacksonville.
Aracelis Jimenez continued to lead the wat with three hits, scored three times and walked twice.
Annelyn Duncan had a three run home run in the fourth inning, her second of the season. Isabel Otero had three hits while Jessica Merk drove in four runs and Madison Velazquez, Emma George and Jaelynne Whipple each had two hits.
Starting pitcher Isabella Rosales picked up the win, striking out four.
Avery Velazquez hit her first home run of the season, a three-run homer in the sixth inning and drove in four runs.
In Game 2, the Titans took the early lead as Jimenez walked and scored on Merk's RBI single.
Tied 1-1, the Florida State College at Jacksonville scored four times in the third inning and went on to post the 7-4 win.
Eastern Florida State College, who is now 7-1 on the season, will travel to Florida Gateway for a doubleheader on Tuesday. The Titans are 2-0 against Gateway this season. The doubleheader will begin at 1 p.m. on the road.
