Softball team hosts Seminole State College in conference doubleheader Saturday
The Eastern Florida State College softball team is hosting Seminole State College in a Citrus Conference doubleheader on Saturday
The Eastern Florida State College softball team will host No. 13 Seminole State College Saturday afternoon in a battle of top 15 teams in the country.
The No. 14 ranked Titans will play the Raiders in a Citrus Conference doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.
Seminole State College comes into the contest 4-4 in the conference and has won four in a row. The Raiders are led by the duo of Cassidy Ross and Kiara Beltre as Ross is hitting .472 with six doubles and Beltre is hitting .426 with three doubles and a home run.
Eastern Florida State College is led by Jenna Borkey who is hitting .516 this season and is tied for first in Region 8 with 25 stolen bases. Hannah Strickland remains in the top five in ERA as the pitcher has an 1.25 ERA in 10 appearances this season. She is also second in Region 8 in saves with two.
