Softball team hosts FSW in doubleheader Wednesday

The Eastern Florida State College softball team will host No. 1 ranked Florida Southwestern Wednesday in a Southern Conference Wednesday afternoon.

The Titans will host the Bucs in a doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m. at Titan Softball Complex. Eastern Florida State College comes in with a 14-25 overall record and is 0-4 in the conference.

Mandy Hedetniemi-Taylor comes into the doubleheader with a 1.72 ERA in 22 appearances and Rachel Lamoureaux is hitting .345 in 31 games this season.

Florida Southwestern was named No. 1 in the NJCAA Division I poll released on Monday and comes into the doubleheader with a 22-game win streak and are 33-3 overall. Belle Sardja has a 0.53 ERA in 21 appearances thus season and has 13 wins.
