Softball team hosts College of Central Florida Wednesday
The Eastern Florida State College softball team will host No. 12 College of Central Florida in the home opener Wednesday at 3 p.m.
The Eastern Florida State College softball team will host the College of Central Florida Wednesday for a doubleheader beginning at 3 p.m.
The Titans opened the regular season 3-1 and will be at Titan Softball Complex for the first time this season on Wednesday.
The College of Central Florida is also 3-1 this season and have won two in a row heading into the doubleheader. The Patriots are ranked 12th in the preseason NJCAA Division I poll.
Eastern Florida State College's Trinity Howard is coming off a big weekend and was named the Region 8 Pitcher of the Week. The sophomore has a 1.17 ERA in two starts this season with 16 strikeouts in 18 innings. Offensively, Makenzie Fore is hitting .778 in three games this season.
Wednesday's doubleheader begins at 3 p.m. and admission is free to Titans Softball Complex. The games will also be shown live online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
