Titans End Softball Regular Season with a Pair of Defeats; State Tournament Next

Eastern Florida's softball team concluded its regular season on Saturday with two losses at Seminole State in Sanford.

The Titans lost 8-0 and 10-2 to finish at 24-28 overall. They finished 12-8 and in second place in the FCSAA Southern Conference, earning their 12^th straight postseason appearance in the NJCAA District/FCSAA Tournament April 29-May 1 in Vero Beach.

Karli Smith was 1-for-2 in Saturday's first game for the Titans and 3-for-3 with a home run and the Titans two runs batted in in the second game.

Natasha Kistler went 2-for-2.

Seminole State, which finished third in the Mid-Florida Conference, improved to 38-21.
