Eastern Florida, St. Johns River Split Doubleheader

Eastern Florida's softball team split a home field doubleheader on Thursday, defeating St. Johns River 6-3 in the first game but falling 8-0 in the second.

Eastern Florida is now 4-8. St. Johns River is 10-5.

Alexa Snyder was the winning pitcher in the first game. Hannah Roberts went 3-for-3 with two runs batted in. Rosie Lyard went 2-for-4.

Morgan Payne took the loss in the second game.

Next up for the Titans is a 1 and 3 p.m. doubleheader on Sunday at Santa Fe College in Gainesville.
