The Eastern Florida State College men's cross country team will compete in four regular-season events this season.
The team will open the regular season Friday, September 6 with the Mocs XC Kick-Off hosted by Florida Southern. The Titans will compete in two more events in September, the 13th at the North Florida Invitational and then the Florida Gateway College Open on the 27th.
Eastern Florida State College will go to Tallahassee for the Florida State XC Invite on October 11 to wrap up the regular season.
"I am very excited about this year's men's team," Eastern Florida State College men's cross country coach Doug Butler said. "With the addition of Adem Bouldjadj (a top 8 runner in nation last year), he will make this team step up their game. Miguel (Angel) and Olmar (Bartolon) are going to be instant impacts and Joey (Coyle) and Wyatt (Pittman) are going to be solid top five guys for us. We also have Brandon (Faris) and three Sebastian River guys that are going to add huge depth to this squad. We have high goals this year and will work harder than ever."
The Titans will run in the FCSAA/NJCAA Region 8 Championship in Tallahassee on Oct. 25 as they look to win the state title for the third straight season.
The NJCAA Division I National Championships will be held Saturday, November 9 in Richmond, Virginia. The NJCAA Half Marathon Championships will be held Nov. 12 at Dorey Park in Richmond, Virginia.
