Men's cross country team finishes sixth at FAU Invitational

The Eastern Florida State College men's cross country team placed sixth overall at the FAU Cross Country Invitational at South County Regional Park in Boca Raton.

The men's team scored 194 points to finish one point ahead of host Florida Atlantic. Chase Hill led the men's team, running a 15 minute, 44.99 second race to finish fourth overall in the 5K race. Teammate Trevor Cross placed 31^st overall with a time of 16:40.56 and Carter Vigneri was 57^th and Gabriel Garcia was 60^th overall, both running the course in 17 minutes.

Nicholas Spence was 64^th in 17:45.48 and Anthony Bergnes ran in 18:37.25. Ethan Heise finished in 18:43.07, Colin McAdams ran an 18:54 and Matt Weiler finished in 20:04.17.

Eastern Florida State College will compete in the Southern Showcase on Sept. 15 in Huntsville, Alabama.
