Men's tennis team ranked third in ITA NJCAA Division I preseason poll

The Eastern Florida State College men's tennis team is ranked third in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association NJCAA Division I preseason rankings released on Thursday.

The Titans finished sixth at the NJCAA Division I National Tournament last season and have six players returning from last season.

Back to back defending national champion Tyler Junior College is ranked No. 1 in the poll with Pratt Community College ranked second.

Barton Community College, who finished second last season at the national tournament, is ranked fourth and Cowley is No. 5 in the poll.

Singles player Fernando Martinez Belinchon is ranked third in the nation in NJCAA Division I singles ranking with teammate Pablo Garcia ranked 15^th and Johan August Mottlau is 18^th in the ranking. Filip Sormaz is ranked 22^nd in the preseason with teammate Zach Achour ranked 40^th.

Eastern Florida State College will host Millenia Atlantic University on Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. at Titan Tennis Center.
