Men's tennis team opens Fall at Embry-Riddle Open

The Eastern Florida State College men's tennis team will open the Fall season Friday at the Embry-Riddle Open.
The men's team has six players returning from a team that finished sixth in the NJCAA Division I National Tournament last season.
The day will begin with doubles matches beginning at 8:30 a.m. with Filip Sormaz and Salvo Mulet teaming up against host Embry-Riddle team of Marc Mail and Enrico Rosellini. Ignacio Sendra and Fernando Martinez will play Embry-Riddle's Charles Leguillon and Pranav Kumar while the duo of Pablo Garcia and Tomas Kurz will face Embry-Riddle's Joao Morgado and Joshua Nuyts. Zach Achour and Johan Mottlau will meet Embry-Riddle's Manuel Lanteri and Mason Cisco.
The doubles matches will be a regular six game set with no ad scoring.
After the doubles matches, the players will take the court in singles matches.
In the Gold Flight, Garcia, Kurz and Mulet are all back and join freshman Fernando Martinez with matches at 9:30 a.m.
In the Blue Flight, Sendra will begin at 9:30 a.m. with teammates Achour, Mottlau and Sormaz playing at 11 a.m.
Play will continue on Saturday and Sunday at Crotty Tennis Complex in Daytona Beach.
