Oervad wraps up weekend at ITA Cup

Eastern Florida State College men's tennis player Frederik Oervad wrapped up the ITA Cup in Rome Georgia with a 7-5, 7-5 loss.

"Tough tournament experience but lots to learn for Frederik and our Titan tennis program," Eastern Florida State College men's tennis assistant coach Brandon Stokes said. "The best is yet to come. We have more time this fall to improve in training and competition."

On Saturday Oervad battled Seward County Community College's Hugo Lobo in a tight match for seventh place in the tournament.

The Titans will travel to Daytona Beach Oct. 26-28 for the Juan Varon Wildcat Invitational.
