Titan men's tennis team tops Meridian CC

The Eastern Florida State College men's tennis team picked up a 7-2 win against Meridian Community College in Mississippi Friday afternoon.

The Titans picked up wins in both the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles as Andreas Wejs and Jesus Amezcua picked up the 8-2 win at No. 2 and Pablo Munoz and Samir Chikhaoui won 8-1 at No. 3.

Danrich Kruger, Amezcua, Alwyn Mushonga, Wejs and Eduardo Garcia all picked up straight-set wins in singles to lock up the victory.

The men's tennis team, who improved to 5-3 on the season, will play Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College at 10 a.m. and then Hinds Community College in the afternoon.
