Men's soccer team plays Murray State in national tournament opener Monday

The Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team will open the NJCAA Division I National Tournament on Monday afternoon in Daytona.
The Titans, who are the No. 6 seed in the tournament, will play Murray State College at 2:30 p.m. in a Group C pool play game.
Murray State College opened the tournament on Sunday, falling to No. 3 seed Cowley County Community College 3-1 in the first Group C game.
Eastern Florida State College comes into the tournament 11-3-1 on the season and has met the Aggies in each of the past two national tournaments. Last season the Titans picked up the win and went on to the semifinals of the national tournament.
Murray State was down 2-0 early in the second half when Matheus Andrade Gomes scored to cut the lead in half. Cowley would score late in the contest to pick up the 3-1 win.
Murray State needs to win to stay alive while the Titans will face Cowley County Community College on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.
It is the third straight season that the Titans have made it to the national tournament.
Admission to games at Daytona State College are $20 per day and $60 for an all session pass. Parking is free and located on the west and south side of the stadium. Fans can also watch the games on the NJCAA Network on pay per view. The semifinals and finals will be shown on ESPN Plus.
