Men's soccer team hosts Daytona State in battle of top 10 teams

The Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team will host Daytona State College in a battle of top 10 teams Thursday night.

The seventh-ranked Titans will wrap up the regular season with a Region 8 showdown with No. 3 Daytona State College at Orlando Health Stadium.

Eastern Florida State College comes into the contest 9-2-1 on the season and is looking to avenge a 3-2 loss earlier this month at Daytona State College.

The Falcons are 10-1-2 this season and are 3-0 in the conference. Josue Youta leads the team with 11 goals while Carlos Rojas has 10 for Daytona State College who has scored 48 goals this season.

Eastern Florida State College's Stephen Gilbert paces an offense that has scored 43 goals this season. Gilbert has 10 goals while Joao Victor Loureiro and Liam Kuemmritz each have five goals as six players have at least four goals for the Titans.
