The Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team lost a thrilling Region 8 Conference game Wednesday night at Orlando Health Stadium.
Miami Dade College scored with two minutes and 33 seconds left in the second half to give the Sharks a 2-1 victory.
Down 1-0, Eastern Florida State College tied the game as Henry Crosthwaite hit a nice corner kick to the middle of the box where Stephen Gilbert headed it past goalkeeper Samuel Cavo to tie the game 1-1.
It would remain tied into halftime.
The second half saw both teams with several chances to take the lead both defenses ruled the night for most of the match.
Jacopo Caprile, Tarik Ferraz Freire, Yurok Cho and Kwame Asante formed a strong back line for the Titans, holding Miami Dade in check for most of the second half.
The Titans are now 9-2-1 overall and 1-2 in the conference heading into the final conference game next Thursday at home against Daytona State College. Thursday's game will begin at 7 p.m. and admission is free to games at Orlando Health Stadium.
