Men's soccer team hosts Miami Dade Wednesday in conference match

The Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team will be home for a Region 8 conference game Wednesday night.
The No 4 ranked Titans will host Miami Dade College at 7 p.m. at Orlando Health Stadium and will be shown live on WEFS-TV.
The game will be the second meeting after Eastern Florida State College's Lars Bekman scored in the 89th minute to secure a 1-0 win earlier this season at Miami Dade.
The Sharks come into the matchup 5-8-2 and looking for their first conference win. Miami Dade College is coming off a 4-0 victory against USC Sumter in a game played at Orlando Health Stadium on Saturday.
Three different players have scored four goals this season and the Sharks are averaging 2.13 goals per game, scoring 32 times in the 15 games.
Goalkeeper Samuel Cavo is among the leaders in saves with 61 and save percentage at .792.
Eastern Florida State College is 9-1-1 and 1-1 in the conference heading into the final couple of weeks of the regular season. The Titans have scored 42 goals in 11 games, averaging 3.82 goals per game this season. Sophomore Stephen Gilbert was named the FCSAA Player of the Week after recording a hat trick against USC Lancaster on Saturday. Gilbert leads the team with nine goals while teammates Liam Kuemmritz and Joao Victor Loureiro each have scored five times.
