The Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team hits the road for a couple of games in Texas.
The No. 4 ranked Titans will open the weekend on Thursday evening against Western Texas College at Richmond College. Eastern Florida State College comes into the weekend 7-1 on the season and is led by sophomore Steven Gilbert who has six goals and five assists. Four other players each have four goals this season as the Titans have scored 36 goals in eight games.
Western Texas College is 3-4-4 this season and is led by the duo of Philipp Federer and Johnny Cuellar who each have scored four goals.
Then on Saturday the Titans will face the No. 1 team in NJCAA Division III men's soccer Dallas College Richland. Richland lost in the national championship game in overtime last season and comes into the week 5-0-1 on the season. The Thunderducks are 4-0 at home and are led by the duo of Abdiel Pineda and Luis Vargas who each have three goals.
Thursday's game will kick off at 5 p.m. in Texas.
