The Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team improved to 3-0 on the season with a victory on the road Thursday.
The No. 3 ranked Titans defeated Pellissippi State Community College 5-4 at Fort Payne Sports Complex in Alabama.
Sophomore Joao Victor Loureiro scored the first of his two goals to open things up for the Titans. Liam Kuemmritz and Stephen Gilbert both added goals in the first half to give Eastern Florida State College a 3-0 lead.
It would be 3-1 at halftime but once again the Titans got off to a good start in the second half as Kwame Asante scored.
Up 4-2 Loureiro scored his second goal to give the Titans a 5-2 lead.
Pellissippi State would score twice late to make it 5-4.
Eastern Florida State College will play Northeast Alabama Community College on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Fort Payne Sportsplex.
The Titans will be back home next Friday afternoon against Enterprise State Community College beginning at 1 p.m. at Orlando Health Stadium.
