The Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team defeated USC Lancaster Sunday afternoon at Daytona State College.
The 10th-ranked Titans improved to 4-0 on the season with the 6-1 win and have outscored opponents 26-2 in their first four games.
Eastern Florida State College broke through with 27 minutes and 16 seconds remaining in the first half as Ryuta Morioka hit a shot past the Lancaster goalkeeper. It would go to halftime 1-0 as the Titans outshot USC Lancaster 15-2 in the first half.
The second half was a different story as the Titans would score five times in the half. And it came quick as they would make it 2-0 three minutes into the second half as Takuma Kiucha took a nice pass and buried it.
Daniele Verdirosi broke loose with 30 minutes remaining and knocked it past the goalkeeper to make it 3-0.
After USC Lancaster scored, Mukisa Emmanuel scored two goals in a matter of 30 seconds to make it 5-1. With 3:29 remaining, Enrico Burigotto scored as the Titans finished with six goals.
The men's soccer team will travel to Panama City Beach to play No. 9 LSU-Eunice in a neutral site game on Friday.
