The Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team posted a shutout against Spartanburg Methodist College Saturday afternoon in Milledgeville, Georgia.
The Titans picked up the regional victory 5-0 to improve to 2-1 on the season.
And it was a day of firsts for the Titans as David Gomez, Mischael Francois, Nemo Lazo, Gene Lewis all scored their first goals as Titans. Rolando Onu made it 5-0 with his second goal of the season.
Gomez got the scoring started less than a minute into the game on a pass from Ben Nicholson. Lewis set up Francois to make it 2-0 in the 26th minute. Lazo scored on a penalty kick three minutes into the second half and Lewis scored on a pass from Randie Hernandez to make it 4-0.
Luke Sexton set up Onu in the 75th minute to make it 5-0.
The Titans outshot the Pioneers 29-2 in the game and Kevin Lass picked up the shutout with one save in the match.
The Titans will wrap up the weekend by playing host Georgia Military on Sunday at 2 p.m.
