The Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team lost a tight game with San Jacinto in double overtime Friday night at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
After about an hour delay at the start, Alex Alexis put the Titans on the board in the first half on an assist from Juan Parada and Craig McCall. But the Titans missed a couple of opportunities to pick up a second goal and San Jacinto tied the game in the second half.
The two teams battled into the second overtime with San Jacinto picking up the game winner in the 108th minute.
"It was a difficult loss but we will learn from it and improve," Eastern Florida State College men's soccer coach Oliver Twelvetrees said.
The team will play Hinds Community College today at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College before coming home to open the home schedule on Friday against Laramie County Community College.
